SCAR OF LIFE 2024

Scar of Life 2024, the 11th edition of the annual fundraising initiative, successfully raised nearly 300,000 USD, creating opportunities for life-saving surgeries for almost 200 children with congenital heart disease, and bringing hope for healthier and brighter futures.

As a creative partner of the event, Dream Studio developed the central concept, “Shape of Dreams”, inspired by the simple yet profound aspirations of children who face congenital heart disease every day. Through a narrative woven throughout the gala evening, the program sought to encourage collective action and community support, helping these children realize their dream of living healthy and fulfilling lives.

The fundraising gala featured a series of meaningful activities, from charity auctions to emotionally resonant performances. One of the evening’s highlights was the duet performance of “Sau Lưng Bố” by Jun Pham and (S)TRONG Trong Hieu, a heartfelt tribute to parents whose unwavering love, sacrifice, and resilience accompany their children throughout the journey of overcoming illness. Another emotional moment came from singer Thu Phuong, who was herself born with a congenital heart condition. Through her performance, she shared a powerful message of hope, perseverance, and compassion, creating a deep connection with the audience.

The program also received tremendous support from the community through three charity auctions featuring more than 80 auction items, in addition to numerous direct donations. Among the most notable pieces were “Shape of Dreams”, a special artwork created exclusively for Scar of Life 2024 by French artist Jérôme Peschard, and “Tứ Phủ”, a painting by Le Dinh Nghien, one of the most distinguished artisans of Vietnam’s traditional Hang Trong folk painting tradition.

Alongside projects in the cultural and entertainment industries, Dream Studio deeply values opportunities to contribute to charitable and non-profit initiatives that create meaningful social impact. Through each project, Dream Studio aspires not only to contribute creative and production expertise, but also to foster compassion, strengthen community connections, and help generate positive change for society.
