The Lavender Spa Customer Appreciation Event was crafted by Dream Studio as a theatrical journey reflecting the brand's philosophy. Inspired by Lana Del Rey’s song “Young & Beautiful”, the program was structured like a deeply narrative musical, where reflections on youth, beauty, and the desire to preserve one's prime were expressed through space, music, and visual language. Throughout the show, the question “Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?” served as the emotional guiding thread, evoking humanity's eternal anxiety over the finiteness of time and the quest for a timeless beauty.
Drawing inspiration from the spirit of The Great Gatsby, the program utilized the imagery of a high-society gala as a symbol of the desire to preserve life's most beautiful moments. The entire design language was developed in a 1920s-1930s European style infused with the spirit of Art Deco, creating a setting where architecture, lighting, and performance art operated seamlessly within a holistic narrative structure.
The highlight of the event lay in how Dream Studio completely reimagined the auditorium rather than utilizing the existing structure. Art Deco architectural blocks were integrated with a massive 360-degree LED screen system, transforming the entire space into moving artistic stained-glass frames that continuously shifted in sync with the show's visual language. Against this backdrop, the main stage was sculpted like a Renaissance masterpiece, featuring an ancient castle staircase, angel statues, and details reminiscent of The Phantom of the Opera. Everything blended into a highly cinematic space, fully conveying the story of beauty, youth, and the aspiration to preserve one's prime that the brand wished to impart.
The emotional journey of the program was built through multiple layers of artistic acts. Artist Thuy Tien opened the show portraying a woman seeking answers to youth and beauty. Le Quyen followed in a highly theatrical space, where the image of a golden cage became a metaphor for the invisible boundaries of beauty, guided by the songs Giấc Mơ Có Thật (Dreams Come True), Để Nhớ Một Thời Ta Đã Yêu (To Remember a Time We Loved), and Bản Tình Cuối (The Last Love Song), accompanied by a violin solo. Thu Minh concluded the artistic performance segment with One Night Only, affirming the exclusivity of an experience that only Lavender could create. The surprise appearance of Son Tung M-TP at the end brought the program's energy to a climax, shifting the luxurious atmosphere of the gala into a youthful, contemporary rhythm.
For Dream Studio, the Lavender Spa Customer Appreciation Event | Young & Beautiful was an experiment in how a brand's philosophy can be told through theatrical art, classical literature, and architecture. Through this project, Dream Studio continues to pursue an approach where space, music, multidisciplinary contemporary arts, and performance merge into a unified experience, allowing guests not merely to attend an event, but to truly live within the world envisioned by the brand.
